I am one of the younger generations that Mrs. McFadden has influenced. I met her at a community event near her home in 2008, where she shared her love for the nursing profession. She shared similar stories like the ones shared in the article. Although it has been a while since I have last seen her, I do hope to see her in November 2010 to celebrate her 100th birthday with her.

He life's experiences are wonderful! I am sure that you learned that when she was interviewed. She is the quintessential woman!
