A Bronx man severely beaten last year by a paint store manager is suing his attacker, who he alleges had the NYPD cover up the crime, according to the NY Daily News. After snitching on Michael Loturco for slashing a rival’s tires, Loturco severely beat Jose Ayala, breaking his ribs. Several police officers, including Loturco’s friend indicted ticket-fixer Officer Christopher Scott, were charged with multiple counts of conspiracy, falsifying records, hindering prosecution and official misconduct.
