Bronx Highschoolers Go Whole Semester Without Math or English

Students at the Bronx High School for Medical Science will have to forgo math and English classes for a semester due to a lack of teachers. DNA Info reports that general ed students have been told they will be able to make up the credits later and still graduate in four years. However, many students at the school are concerned that having gaps in subjects will make it difficult for them to score well on the SAT and other college entrance exams.
