Seyma Bayram covers Williamsbridge. Previously, she was editor of the publishing program at a Utrecht-based experimental arts non-profit and a high school teacher in Brooklyn. Bayram is committed to documenting the stories of individuals and communities whose voices are often excluded from mainstream media. Tristan Cimini covers education and Bronx Community District 1 for She got her start in journalism through radio. She’s interned at WNYC, WBUR, and The New England Center for Investigative Reporting. Allen Devlin graduated from the University of South Carolina in May of 2018 with a B.A in Broadcast Journalism. During his time at USC, Allen served as an anchor, reporter, and correspondent for Gamecock Television and Carolina News, the university’s two broadcast stations. Allen worked with the ABC affiliate WSBTV in Atlanta during his summers as an undergraduate student, as well as CNN during the 2016 Presidential Election. Allen’s eagerness has only grown with his arrival to New York City as a student enrolled in Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism and he is looking forward to exploring the Bronx and continuing to pursue his passion.
Olivia Eubanks was born and raised in California and she has interned with CNBC and NBC’s Today Show. She is attending Columbia Journalism to learn and broaden her interests in all the different aspects of journalism.
