Bronx supermarkets hit with thousands in fines

The city’s Department of Consumer Affairs inspected 650 grocery stores and found that hundreds did not display prices, overcharged and used faulty scales, among other violations. Here is a list of 25 stores—three of which are located in the Bronx— that were hit with the highest total fines last year.
