Every four years, Passover, Orthodox Easter and Easter all happen together. This past week, the reporters of the Bronx Ink fanned out across the borough to report on how the sacred week was celebrated. The One Way to Heaven Church in Hunts Point puts on a unique version of Christ's Passion for its congregation. Youth Pastor Clarissa Rivera made the most of her limited resources and time with a repeat performance-style take on one of the most important narratives of Christianity.

The 73-year-old pastor, Rev. Leroy Benton, led his congregation in traditional gospel songs such as "Calvary." His church, True Gospel Tabernacle, is on Tremont Avenue in Morris Heights. The church has been around for over 20 years.

To celebrate Good Friday, around 600 worshipers gathered at the Zoodohos Peghe Greek Orthodox Parish for the evening service called the Lamentations and the Litany of the Epitafios (the Tomb of Christ).
