Fake water department inspectors on a robbing spree in the Bronx

The police warned on Tuesday that the pair cons gullible victims by claiming to be water department officials and then rob them.  The victims and the police described the robbers as two Hispanic males in their 30s who approached their victims during mid-afternoon and carried off cash and jewelry escaping on foot. They have already robbed five times since December in Pelham Bay, Kingsbridge, Country Club, Wakefield and Morris Park. The police are still looking for the duo, reports NYDailyNews.
