Co-op city janitor faces life for ’07 murder rampage

Paulino Valensuela, 54,was found guilt on charges of second degree murder on Monday. After losing a wrongful termination suit several years ago, Valensuela walked into the offices of his former job at 2440 Hunter Ave.  and with a homemade silencer, according to the Daily News, opened fire. He killed Audley Bent, 59, and injured his former supervisor Filip Zadrima, 56, and co-worker Sander Palaj, 50. Zadrima was left paralyzed.

Valensuela is set to be sentenced May 5, and faces life in prison.
