Forty percent of Bronx residents want more police protection, NY Daily News

Roughly 40 percent of Bronx residents said they think police protection is poor, a new poll shows, the New York Daily News reports.

The Municipal Art Society poll, produced by Marist College and released Thursday, surveyed 1,024 New Yorkers last month, questioning them about the livability of their neighborhoods.

Nearly nine out of 10 Manhattan residents said they were satisfied with their borough, while upward of one-quarter of Bronx residents gave the opposite answer.
