Cosmetologist convicted of homicide, NY Daily News

An unlicensed cosmetologist was found guilty in the 2009 death of Bronx resident Fiordaliza Pichardo, the NY Daily News reported. Elsa Then injected silicone into Pichardo and attempted to close the wounds with Krazy Glue.

Macy’s will open a store in the Bronx at a new shopping development near Pelham Bay Park. The Macy’s store will make up 160,000-square-feet of the 630,000-square-foot Mall at Bay Plaza, the WSJ reported.
