Residents living near the site of Donald Trump’s upcoming Throgs Neck golf course in Ferry Point Park voiced their concern on Monday night, News 12 reports.

The site being used for the golf course was previously a landfill, and residents are worried about methane gas coming from the area.

State environmental representatives claim that they are keeping an eye on the area and that it is safe.
