A new aquatics program is bringing Bronx residents back to a forgotten swimming pool at 1130 Grand Councourse, the New York Daily News reports.

After the aquatics director secured more funding and longer hours, improvements spread by word of mouth. The pool is now averaging 400 swimmers per week.
