Adolfo Carrion Jr. Criticized for Declining Public Campaign Funding

Former Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion Jr. is being criticized for declining the public matching funds for a potential political campaign. Daily News reports that Susan Lerner, executive director of the citizens lobby group Common Cause/NY, says that the move to decline public funding doesn’t help voters and puts more power in the hands of special interest groups.
