An amber alert has been issued for Nazir Edwards, 5, and Mlyliah Edwards, 2, who were allegedly abducted by Edward Fitz at around 4 a.m.

According to the police, Fitz, 29, fired a gun during a domestic dispute and then set their home, located on Barber Avenue, on fire.

Authorities say the suspect is driving a 2005 Honda Accord sedan with the license plate number EWV6599.

Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the New York City Police at(866)N Y S-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.
