Lehman High School Receives Poor Grade from DOE Again

The Department of Education gave Lehman High School in the Bronx poor performance marks for a second year in a row, and is threatening possible closure again. The DOE has threatened to close the school in the past, the Bronx Times reports, but school officials say the D’s and F’s are the result of failed city-wide policies.

Lehman is one of eight Bronx schools placed on the “endangered” list this year.
