Police find Bronx pot grow operation housing 90 plants

A major marijuana grow house has been discovered in the Bronx — and the diverted electrical wiring posed a fire hazard. The drug den was discovered inside a 50-apartment building on University Ave. near W. 179th St. in Morris Heights Monday afternoon, police sources said.

Rikers Island Supervisor Arrested for Sexual Abuse

Captain Timothy Cowen, 33, was arrested on Friday and charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse, according to prosecutors.
