Edgar Colon, born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, is a pillar in his community.

After years spent honing his craft in other barbershops, Colon opened his own business eight years ago, blocks from his childhood home. In spite of the recession, Sharp Styles continues to provide refuge to people in the neighborhood. Colon keeps his prices low so that anyone can come in for a trim and a welcome break.
