First New School In Hunts Point In 30 Years Officially Welcomes Students, NY1

A new charter school officially opened in Hunts Point yesterday, though it has been accepting students for a few weeks. NY1 has a special report. The Hyde Leadership Charter School will eventually hold 300 9th through to 12th grade students. It is the first educational facility to open in Hunts Point in 30 years.
