Unionized nurses at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx announced on Wednesday a tentative Jan. 10 strike date if their demands are not met by hospital management.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the nurses made the announcement even as two other major hospitals reached tentative deals with their nurses.

The New York State Nurses Association represents about 2,000 nurses at the Bronx hospital.
