Little boy fights to survive gun wound, NY Daily News

The father of a young boy who was shot on Tuesday wrested the gun from the attacker and shot the would-be mugger in the head as he fled. Four-year-old Cincer Baltazar is recovering at St. Barnabas Hospital. The 17-year-old assailant is in stable condition, the NY Daily News reported.

Teenager, four-year-old shot in Fordham, CBS

Police are looking for the gunman in two shootings last night believed to be related. A would-be mugger shot a young child in the chest on Grand Avenue at around 10:30pm. Soon after, a teenager was found shot in the head. Both shootings were in Fordham, CBS reported. The victims are in critical condition.
