Nestle markets bottled water at Latinos, NY Daily News

A watchdog group says a Nestle bottled-water store in Longwood is marketing an unnecessary product to Latinos, according to the New York Daily News. Boston-based Corporate Accountability International staged a blind taste test outside the Pure Life, which opened two years ago, to counter a marketing campaign geared toward Spanish speakers.

Number of chain stores increase, WSJ

Binghamton man accused of killing Bronx man, Binghamton Press and Sun-Bulletin

Police have charged Binghamton resident Joseph A. Ross-Jones, 25, with killing Bronx resident Daniel Martinez, 27, according to the Binghamton Press and Sun-Bulletin. Police say Martinez, found in a wooded area with a gun shot and stab wounds, died of “multiple traumatic injuries and blood loss.” Jones has pleaded not guilty to a second-degree murder charge.
